2PM and miss A Become Models for Korean Tourism Organization

2PM and miss A have been chosen as models for an advertisement for the Korean Tourism Organization.

The Organization has said that 2PM and miss A have been selected for ads to help promote the city of Seoul as a fashion hub. The advertisement is planned to be aired early September. It will be aired in countries all over the world through CNN, Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel and other channels of Japan and China. The advertisement encourages a trip to Korea saying it could enhance your looks to that of 2PM, miss A, or any of the other popular idol groups.

2PM & Miss A to Attend ‘2010 MAMA’, Wonder Girls Still Unconfirmed

JYP Entertainment groups 2PM and miss A have confirmed their attendance for the ‘2010 Mnet Asian Music Awards‘ (MAMA).

A representative from JYP Entertainment spoke with Newsen and stated, “2PM and miss A have decided to go to Macau since they have all ended their promotions, and none of their schedules overlap. The appearance of the Wonder Girls for the 2010 MAMA is still under discussion.”

2PM won the ‘Male Group of the Year’ award at the 2009 MAMA, and have been nominated once more this year for the same award. Additionally, they’ve been added to the list of contenders for the ‘Best Dance Performance (male)’ distinction. Labelmates miss A are nominees for the ‘Rookie Girl Group’ and the ‘Best Dance Performance (girl)’ awards.

The 2010 MAMA will take place in Macau on November 28th.

2PM set to go on a movie date with lucky fans

2PM is planning on having a movie “date” with fans on November 6th with the assistance of CGV movie theater.
The event will be called “2PM Day at CGV”, and a few select fans can come to the theater and watch an evening movie with their favorite boy band.
The six lucky fans will be chosen from a random selection of comments left on the CGV homepage.
They’ll also receive gifts and signed CDs.

Nichkhun is male idol fangirls most want to save in earthquake

A recent poll further cemented 2PM member Nichkhun’s insane popularity. He ranked 1st in a poll that asked which male idol star one would most like to save if there were an earthquake.
The poll was given on the website of the film “Big Earthquake,” which was released last week. 68% of fan girls decided to save Nichkhun, while Big Bang’s TOP came in 2nd with 17% of the votes, B2st’s Lee Ki Kwang came in with 10%, and CNBlue’s Jung Yonghwa came in 4th with 3%.
