CN Blue takes another step towards the big leagues with a high-profile gig.  The four-man band will open for Grammy winner Linkin Park on the September 10 concert of “A Thousand Suns Japan Tour 2011.”

CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa Reveals the Criteria for His Ideal Type ~Sweet Potato??~

CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa recently participated in an interview back in Thailand, and he revealed the qualities his ideal woman would have.

“I don’t have very specific requests or expectations about my ideal type,” he explained. “First… I hope she is the type of woman who is pure, has a feminine personality, and is someone who is honest. Appearance-wise, I prefer girls with long hair. I also like the hair to be slightly wavy. As for height… I would hope that she is tall enough to be just above where my shoulders are. I like girls with clear and bright eyes…and someone who knows how to take care of herself .”

Hmm… this description sounds awfully similar… Perhaps he’s got a certain sweet potato lover from SNSD in mind? Who knows??

CNBLUE’s long-awaited third Japanese single has finally dropped in stores on January 9th!
Titled “RE-MAINTENANCE“, the single is comprised of four tracks. Demonstrating their prowess as musicians, member Yong Hwa wrote and composed “Try Again, Smile Again” and “Don’t say goodbye“, while Jong Hyun composed “kimio“.

CNBLUE Appears On The Local News By Coincidence

Idol rock band group CNBLUE is recently receiving a lot of attention for coincidently appearing on the local news.

On November 4th, the local KBS news informed citizens that there is a need to enhance airline security search procedures through a corner called, “Today’s News.” However, during that short news section, viewers caught sights of CNBLUE members Lee Jung Shin, Jung Yonghwa, and Lee Jong Hyun. In the footage, Jung Shin was shown going through security procedures with his arms wide open, while Yonghwa was shown waiting on the side.

According to fans, CNBLUE was at the Kimpo airport after coming back from Japan. Furthermore, the footage of the members captured on news was a coincidence during their trip headed to Thailand. Netizens who saw the news commented, “I was really surprised” and “Did you guys come out on purpose? There is no other sitcom-like event like this one.”

CNBLUE’s leader Jung Yonghwa revealed a touching story of how his mother shed tears after watching CNBLUE’s debut stage.

During a recent filming of ‘Come To Play Special: Busan Man‘, Yonghwa revealed, “My mother cried a lot after seeing our debut stage… Before my debut, my mother was supportive and never against me becoming a singer. During my auditions and trainee days, my mother has always told me, ‘Try it, you do it so well’.”
