Super Junior’s Popularity in Taiwan FinaLLy Confirms!!

Lin Yu Chun, a worldwide superstar who earned his fame through a Taiwanese audition program, recently confirmed the popularity of Super Junior in Taiwan. The talent was visiting the nation to participate in an episode of SBS’s “Star King“.

Lin Yu Chun met with reporters at SBS’s broadcast hall on November 8th and stated, “The popularity of Super Junior in Taiwan is beyond anything imaginable.”
When asked whether he knew any Korean singers, he replied, “Super Junior, especially Lee Teuk, the Wonder Girls, 4minute, and SNSD all have immense popularity. In school events, students perform Super Junior’s ‘Sorry Sorry.’”

SNSD’s Sooyoung, Shin Se Kyung, SuJu’s Siwon Caught Up in ‘Insincerity’ Controversy

Earlier, we reported on the heartwarming pictures of idol stars Shin Se Kyung, SNSD’s Sooyoung and Super Junior’s Siwon visiting ex-professional basketball player and coach, Park Seung Il. Park is suffering from a neurodegenerative disease called Lou Gehrig’s Disease, better known as ‘ALS‘. However, instead of accepting this heartwarming act as their way of giving back to the community, some netizens thought it looked cheap and disrespectful to the patient, as if they had only visited him in order to develop their celebrity image.

In the photos, the celebrities are smiling cheerfully next to the ALS patient; Shin Se Kyung and Sooyoung were snapped giving kisses on Park Seung Il’s cheek.

Super Junior’s Sungmin To Act in New Drama, “President”

Super Junior’s Sungmin has been confirmed for the role of ‘Jang Sungmin’ in KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama, “President.”

Sungmin will play the role of Jang Sungmin, the son of ‘Choi Su Jong‘ and ‘Ha Hee Ra‘, is a politics-major student who dreams of becoming a politician like his father. Although he attempts to help his father earn votes, his efforts aren’t always fair.

Producers of the drama stated, “His character name is the same as his real name, so we’re considering it as a match made in heaven. We thought that he was only good at singing and dancing, but he’s a talented actor as well.”

Sungmin had previous acting experience through the 2005 drama, “Sisters of the Sea“. The multi-talented singer simply stated, “I’m excited to be acting again.”

“President” will be airing right after “Fugitive: Plan B” on December 8th.

Preview Image of Super Junior And Kim Hyun Joong On CNN

Last week, we reported that ‘Playful Kiss’ star and SS501 leader Kim Hyun Joong would interview with CNN’s Anna Coren for Talk Asia. It was also revealed that Super Junior’s Choi Siwon and Leeteuk also interviewed with Anna Coren and a preview image (seen above) from the interviews was recently revealed via TV Daily.

CNN’s Talk Asia has put a lot of focus on South Korea for the past few episodes as South Korea is scheduled to hold the G20 Summit on November 11-12.
Kim Hyun Joong will be interviewed about the success of ‘Playful Kiss’, as well as his thoughts on acting alongside female lead, Jung So Min.
